Freddie Mac has an exciting and challenging opportunity for an Agile Coaching, Prof within Single Family Data & Decisions Solutions portfolio working on innovative Big Data technologies supporting the enterprise Data lake!

As part of Single Family Data & Decisions Solutions portfolio, we are an eco-system that enables optimal, loan evaluation and purchase decisions across Single Family by providing the right data at the right time to the Loan Advisory Suite of applications for real time and analytical business processes. We are also leading the change to build several data solutions using our Cloud Native Data Lake platform that enable consolidating, centralizing and consuming shared data for the enterprise to serve various data analytics and reporting needs.

Your Impact:

Our ideal candidate will have significant impact in our team, and in our world. You will guide and lead the team through the delivery of software and services, while embracing and promoting the Agile attitude.

You will partner with Product Management, Product Owners and others to define the mission value to help ensure strategy and execution alignment. This person will also:

Guide the team and organization on how to use scrum & agile practices and methodologies. Oversee the scrum process and coach the team

Communicate the annual calendars for Iterations and Program Increments (PIs)

Responsible to lead , facilitate and drive the agile ceremonies such as Scrum of Scrums, Iteration Planning, Demo, Retrospective, Daily stand ups and fostering a problem-solving attitude

Facilitate impediment removal the Scrum team by fostering collaboration within the team.

Collaborate with the communities of practice and identify and deploy important metrics to enable continuous improvement across the development teams

Identify and direct the implementation of process improvements that significantly improve quality of the product

Coach Scrum Team on Agile Practices and attitudes while facilitating transparency, inspection and adaptation

Support production deployments as required

Facilitate the management of the product backlog and coordinates with other product team to identify and manage cross-team dependencies

Responsible for risk identification and management, as it relates to the product, as well as assumptions, dependencies and customer concerns, as warranted

Collaborate with the development, operations, business and third-party resources to drive execution of the deliverables

Works under minimal supervision and follows established directions.


Minimum of Certified Scrum Coach (CSM) or Agile Certified Scrum Coach (PMI-ACP) required

Kanban certification preferred

At least two or more years of direct experience in one or more aspects of Information Technology (Software design/ development, IT Architecture or other related IT areas)

Two or more years of explicit experience as an Agile Scrum Coach/Coach of an Agile delivery team, preferably in a variety of situations including large organizations

Effective facilitation skills

Effective coaching and mentoring skills and demonstrate being a change agent

Ability to thrive in a highly ambiguous, fast paced environment where priorities shift rapidly

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify effective solutions

Effective influence, collaboration and negotiation skills

Hands-on JIRA tool experience preferred

Ability to work and collaborate with internal and external teams to problem solve and remove impediments (e.g., cultural barriers, logistic challenges)
