The Role Our client s Corporate Reorganisation practice represents companies, creditors and trustees in complex restructurings both in and out of court and in the multiple types of litigation that insolvency proceedings generate. Due to the development and expansion of the firm s Corporate Reorgansiation practice, it is now seeking to appoint a 2 to 3 PQE associate to bolster its well-established platform. The ideal candidate will have Full time Bankruptcy and Corporate Reorganization experience including: representing major chapter 11 debtors, significant financial creditors, and buyers in 363 purchasers. Applicants must be admitted in New York or taking steps to achieve admission. The role involves representing corporate debtors, lenders, financial intuitions, creditors and other entities, in a wide range of restructuring transactions, including cross-border, as well as in bankruptcy related litigations and other special representations. Restructuring transactions include out of court restructurings, prepacked and prearranged chapter 11 filings, traditional chapter 11 filings, 363 asset purchases, and other distressed lending transactions across a variety of industries. The firm is based in New York and the location is easily commutable from the surrounding boroughs.
