Great opportunity for experienced FLT drivers to join our client based in Thame, if you have either a Reach Truck licence or counterbalance licence that is in date then please feel free to apply!! The hours are 7-3.30 Monday to Thursday 7-12 on a Friday you will also benefit from plenty of overtime so a good chance to increase weekly wage! following a sucsessful three month probation you will also be able to increase your salary by a further £900.00 Per annum following a side loader tarining course. This is a permanent position however you will be employed through K&D payroll for the first 12 weeks before transferring to the clients payroll after that point. Job Purpose : To maintain the stores efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner, this involves the booking in, allocation and dispatch of goods to our production team and end customers. Due to the locations of stock and the weights of materials a folk-lift and counterbalance licence is essential as are good PC skills. Key Accountabilities: Goods inwards Ensure that stock is safely and accurately received. Up-date all purchase order items received, via the AX computer system within a timely manner, highlight any discrepancies to the planning department via email. Action any Purchasing requested from planning. Ensure that all stock is correctly marked up and in its correct location Dispatch Run daily report showing sale orders, which need dispatching, print picking note. Ensure items are picked and packed correctly in accordance to the picking notes, follow any special instruction given. Ensure all dispatch note are produced via AX computer system. Produce courier tracking note and label via courier internet system. Run end of day Courier reports and notes via courier internet computer system. Inform Sales of any discrepancies via email. Arrange transport when required. Ensure that all prepared Sale orders are collected at the end of each day. Ensure that stock is safely and accurately received, stored, picked and delivered to end-user correctly Progress stock being manufactured in the factory and ensure timely arrival either into the stores for stock or delivery to production. Assess location of stock and if necessary make a decision to relocate stock, to another area if more practical and efficient use of space can be achieved. Ensure stock is correctly marked up and in its correct location. Ensure all warehouse stock items are update via the AX computer system. Update the location system via AX computer system. Inform Planning of discrepancies via email. Commutate via email with planning to generate re-ordering when stocks are low or below minimum level. Cycle counting Run inventory reports cards for the items or location being cycle counted via AX computer system. Ensure that stock is safely and accurately counted Carry out a full Investigation and report to the Warehouse Manager any discrepancies found. Update inventory record via AX computer system. Export Consignment Stock Run daily report showing sale orders which need Export consolidating eg. ( FZE, LEI, CGL ) Ensure items are picked and packed correctly, and follow any special instruction given. Ensure that all sale orders are allocated via AX computer system. Generate all dispatch notes via AX computer system. Ensure that all pallets are marked with the correct delivery address, weight and size of pallets. Compete Shipping documentation. Record container details. Ensure all containers; Air Freight and Sea Freight are loaded correctly. Inform Planning control of any discrepancies found by email. Use of hand vibrating tools and hand tools when required Use and wear PPE when required Regularly lift / move items of 10kg and occasionally up to 25kg within safe lifting guide lines Frequently sit, stand, walk, reach within hands and arm's length, stoop, kneel and crouch. Use substances covered under the COSHH regulations Secondary Activities / Tasks Attend Health Surveillance meetings as appropriate, adherence to all Company Health & Safety Policies, Procedures and Safe Working Practices Attend training courses and participate in "on the job" training, to develop skills Take on additional duties after training and qualification May be required to show or explain processes to visitors To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as required / instructed in order to maintain and / or improve the efficiency, quality and service provided by the Logistics Department. Ensure good housekeeping of Warehouse area. Offer suggestions to the Warehouse Team Leader / Warehouse Manager at any time for anything that will improve the efficiency and/or safety of the Stores.Experience Knowledge & Skills: Fork lift Truck Licence. Counterbalance to cover 7 ton. Reach Truck . 3 ton side loader Other Machinery. Scissor lift, Pallet wrapper, Dalmec Lifting Machine. Battery operated pallet truck. Battery operated stacked truck Skills: Physically able to work in a Stores area. Ability to interpret instructions. Ability to work unsupervised in an efficient manner. Computer literate in the use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Operate a fork lift truck in accordance with best practices with regard for the machine and staff safety.
