Job Title: HR Advisor Duration: Permanent Location: Wythenshawe Salary: £30,000pa - £32,000 company benefits We're looking for a talented HR Advisor to work for our client based in Wythenshawe. The standard hours for this role are 7.30am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday & Friday 7.30am - 12.30pm (36.5 hours) The Role: As the HR Advisor you will be primarily responsible for supporting the delivery of the People Strategy, in close collaboration with the HR team, and as directed by the HR Manager. In the job you'll be tasked with the following: - Maximise customer satisfaction with the HR service delivery. - Provide optimal, creative, and collaborative Employee Relations guidance and support. - Deliver small, short- to medium-term people-related projects. - Manage a broad range of Employee Relations cases, providing sound, well-judged support and advice to achieve as optimal an outcome as possible. - Deliver best practice recruitment and selection guidance to internal customers, candidates and suppliers. Ensure compliance with internal recruitment processes and authorisation protocols. - Provide accurate and timely guidance to internal customers on HR policies. Adjusting the level of support for different customers accordingly. - Collate, analyse and report on HR related data, including, but not limited to, reporting from the Company HRIS, Workday. Take a pro-active approach to ensuring the ongoing accuracy of people-related data. - Work with customers to ensure a consistent approach to performance management delivery across the business. - Identify learning opportunities and implement innovative, effective HR, Learning & Development solutions. - Support audit processes as and when required, including the annual training audit. - Actively implement a Growth Mindset approach to activities, to offer continuous improvement. - Coordinate Learning and Development activities. Including budget reporting, project planning and organisation as and when required. - Continue to develop professionally regarding HR and L&D best practice and trends. - Offer ideas and contribute positively to the business to promote and encourage business growth and improvements. - On Time delivery of projects and other HR activities. - Accurate reporting of HR data. - Delivery of Employee Relations outcomes in line with Company policy and precedent, with full risk analysis and management. The Candidate: The ideal candidate for this HR Advisor role will need: - Qualified to minimum CIPD level 5, or equivalent experience - Experience in interpreting, advising on and implementing relevant policies and procedures. - Experience in providing advice and support to line managers and employees on the range of HR activities covered by the department. - The verbal communication skills to communicate with a diverse client group. - Confident in quickly building rapport, appropriately challenging and negotiating at all levels; both internally and externally. - Builds strong working relationships and works well within a cross-departmental, team environment. - Maintains exemplary organisation skills, confidentiality and attention to detail, particularly in the handling and analysis of people data. - Has strong generalist HR knowledge and experience supporting stakeholders across the entire employee lifecycle. - Demonstrates exceptional people skills, with the ability to form trusting relationships. - Is proactive in approach and curious enough to identify issues and develop solutions. - Writes and presents information effectively and appropriately. - Knowledge of common HR policies and procedures and relevant legislation. - Intermediate I.T. skills, with the ability to use basic to intermediate level functions within Microsoft packages. (e.g. PowerPoint slide transitions, Excel Formulae). - Knowledge of HR systems, specifically Workday. - Knowledge of Employment law. Does that sound like you? If so, we'd love to see your CV.
