Our Client is a leading Carbon Fibre manufacturer working predominately in high-end, luxury Automotive and Formula 1. Having secured multiple new projects and as part of their continued expansion, it is our pleasure to now be partnering them in trying to secure an experienced Paint Sprayer on a permanent basis. On offer to the successful candidate will be a negotiable, albeit based on relevant experience, hourly rate, together with a full benefits package. These positions are available on a standard Day Shift basis. The Key Responsibilities, but not limited to are: Meeting targets in terms of both productivity and quality. Inspect vehicles for body defects prior to painting. Prepare vehicles for spraying e.g. apply adhesion promoter, de-greasing and tacking off as required. Hand spray vehicles and substrate components to acceptable standard. Ensure correct application of base coats and clear coats. Ensure removal of any contaminants/dirt between coats. Set up, maintain and clean hoods, and airlines. Maintain daily liaison with, purchased service contractors, Group Leader and Lead Technician regarding issues that may compromise quality or productivity. Occasional work in other areas e.g. prep / polish as business needs dictate,Qualifications & Experience ideally required: Should ideally come from a recognised Apprenticeship. Indeed, any of the following qualifications would be a real bonus; but plenty of relevant experience will also be considered; BTEC Certificate/Diploma in Vehicle Technology levels 2 and 3 City & Guilds Entry Level Award in Vehicle Systems and Body and Paint Maintenance City & Guilds Certificate/Diploma in Vehicle Body and Paint Operations Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) awards in Vehicle Body and Paint Operations (Refinishing) levels 1 to 3. You will need to be an experienced and professional Automotive Paint Sprayer with excellent hand-eye co-ordination to maintain a smooth and even paint film. This position is available immediately.
