Core Responsibilities

  • Strengthen the broker channel and develop new distribution channels (other than agency), which fit into the Company s context and align with strategies
  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive sales in different broker segments including IFA, local brokers, MCV brokers and HNW brokers
  • Develop strong relationship with target brokers and business partners, familiar with the business model and target customer groups, strategize and formulate solutions for the brokers and business partners
  • Leverage on the assigned broker relationships and local network to acquire new brokers and deepening relationships with existing brokers, and actively seek for opportunities to promote the Company s brand and wealth solutions
  • Provide first class training and services to the sales channels, and monitor the sales performance
  • Collaborate with Customer and Marketing function to formulate campaigns to boost sales performance and optimize the sales budget to achieve the company objectives and sales targets
  • Gather market intelligence and contribute to the overall product, sales and technology strategies of the Company
  • Participate in the development and implementation of initiatives related to the product and sales propositions, systems and procedures requirements for the Distribution Department
  • Experienced candidate will be assigned the responsibility of overseeing the sales support function
  • Any other ad-hoc projects as assigned

Qualifications/ Experience

  • University degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Economics or related disciplines
  • Successfully passed the IIQE paper 1, 3, and 5 to become licensed individual insurance agent
  • At least 8 years proven business development and sales experience in wealth management, investment, banking, or insurance industry
  • Well-developed network in the market and with proven ability to develop new, strong and meaningful working relationships with business partners and colleagues.
  • Detailed understanding of the legislative and regulatory regime
  • Self-managed, motivated, ambitious, strategic mindset and able to build plans from scratch
  • Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese, knowledge of Mandarin is a plus
  • Potential candidates with IANG visa would be considered
