Job Title:        M&A - Senior Financial Analyst 
Department:        Corporate Finance
Reports To:        V.P. Corporate FP&A and M&A 



The Senior Financial Analyst will be an integral partner of the Mergers and Acquisition team responsible for administering the acquisition platform, evaluating strategic opportunities, identifying new opportunities and supporting management's efforts through market research, financial modeling and presentation building. The Senior Financial Analyst will have a working knowledge of acquisition processes, market segments, financial markets, strategies, competitors, credit analysis and valuation models.


General Description of Duties/Responsibilities:


    Update and maintain acquisition pipeline tool ensuring it is up-to-date and properly leveraged
    Leverage research platforms to identify potential targets, perform research on competition, identify and interpret industry and market trends
    Assist management in all phases of the M&A process
    Maintain and refine M&A and Integration playbooks
    Analyze marketing materials and research for proper analysis of opportunities
    Create complex financial models to evaluate strategic opportunities. Models may include but aren't limited to: discounted cash flow analysis, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions analysis, liquidation value, merger consequences analysis, sensitivity and leveraged buyout.
    Prepare, review and analyze Board of Directors and management presentations including but not limited to investment memos and corporate strategy materials
    Perform data analysis and research to support corporate strategy initiatives
    Ability to gather information and review assumptions for logic and reasonableness 
    Keep up-to-date with key competitors and any material developments
    Ability to interact with various positions within the organization and lead various teams and tasks simultaneously, effectively and efficiently
    Capable of working in a timeline driven environment while providing accurate information
    Identify and share best practices amongst business units
    Evaluate current process and make recommendations for improvements
    Performs other duties as assigned
