Technical Administrator - Automotive Aftermarket A Technical Administrator is required to join the successful aftermarket team of a global automotive parts manufacturer. Our client is a brand leader with a huge market share across their product range. The Technical Administrator will handle technical enquiries, manage warranty claims, create technical bulletins and ensure product and technical data is kept up to date. Full product and job training will be provided, and you will be joining an experienced, supportive team. Key attributes for this role include, an excellent telephone manner, an organised outlook, and a good knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel. Prior knowledge and experience of automotive components or an interest in the automotive industry is advantageous however not essential. This role supports hybrid working. Office based role - ideal locations - St Albans, Berkhamsted, Hemel Hempstead, Amersham, Watford, Rickmansworth, Borehamwood, Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City, Luton, Wendover, Beaconsfield, Dunstable ££Competitive + Excellent Pension + Healthcare + Life Assurance + Lunch Allowance + 25 days annual leave The Role The effective handling of enquiries received by telephone, email or in person, these will be related to the products and their application. Ensure all logs and databases are kept up to date and produce reports as required. Process and administer warranty claims, liaising with claimants and suppliers. Create and distribute product bulletins. Attend exhibitions, PR functions and customer events throughout the UK as required. Keep product, technical and market knowledge up to date.The Candidate A demonstrable background in a similar or related role such as customer service or technical support. Our ideal candidate will be data driven with the ability to interpret and analyse data using Microsoft Excel. First class verbal and written communication skills are a must for this role. A problem-solving approach with excellent deductive reasoning. Strong IT skills, in particular using Microsoft Excel and Google Suite. Other personal attributes should include attention to detail, highly organised and the ability to present information in an effective manner.
