This particular role requires a specialist in Video, as well as having experience in project or events management. Key responsibilities and accountabilities: As part of the technical and asset support team, providing video expertise to production and install teams as well as wider strategic input for video support at SFL Group. You will be managing key SFL Group accounts for some very well known UK venues and brands. Bringing leadership (both team and technical discipline) to project teams whether from a video discipline or being an overall project lead. Working with the Video and Projects Director, developing the video equipment and solutions offered by the company and working with the warehouse teams to ensure correct service schedules, updates & maintenance of video assets. You will oversee the successful delivery of production projects from brief to execution. Be the main point of contact for clients on a day-to-day basis. Meeting with them, listening, and understanding their situation, building relationship and rapport, and helping them articulate their brief. • Assist in improving, updating and specifying new and future video asset solutions • Designing video systems for rental solutions • Training internal teams on new and current video equipment and technologies • Assisting the sales and install team with systems and product design along with on-site tech support • Applying knowledge (set up, safe use and de-rig) of industry leading video system solutions, including (but not exclusive to) Projection, LED, Image Processing, Media Servers, Networking, Streaming, Broadcast Camera Solutions, wireless video solutions • Barco, Christie & Analog Way image processing • Barco & Panasonic DLP Projection including warping. Specifically multiple stacking and multi way projector blending / mapping • Knowledge of Qlab & playback and presentation systems. Including more advanced, midi integration and timecode triggering across multiple synchronised server systems • Experience of more advanced media servers such as Disguise and Watchout
